2019 Conflict Resolution Day Bookmark Art Contest

The Dispute Resolution Center of Montgomery County, Inc. (DRC-MC) seeks entries for its 2019 Conflict Resolution Day Bookmark Art Contest. The contest is open to all Montgomery County students in grades K through 8. Use the button below to print the submission form and artwork template.
Artwork may be mailed or dropped off to: Elaine Roberts, Dispute Resolution Center, 301 N. Thompson Street, Suite 106, Conroe, Texas 77301. Please call or email with any questions. The DRC-MC may be reached at 936-760-6914, or at email@example.com. Please ensure to print the Submission Form in landscape orientation.
Level 1, Kindergarten through Second grade
Level 2, Third through Fifth grade
Level 3, Sixth through Eighth grade.
Submit original artwork drawn on book mark size template available in link above or on an 8½ x 11 inch sheet of paper with the image size being 3 inches high by 9 inches wide. Please be sure that the student’s name, age and grade, school or program name, teacher’s name and an address, written legibly, are included with each bookmark entry. Please DO NOT FOLD BOOKMARK.
Bookmark art must reflect a conflict resolution or prevention theme, such as peer mediation, talking things out, apologizing, respecting differences, solving problems together, listening, tolerance, peace building, or alternatives to violence.
All original artwork must be received on or before 5:00 p.m. on September 30, 2019. Winners will be listed on the DRC-MC website by October 18, 2019. Faxed or emailed bookmarks will not be accepted.
An awards ceremony will be held on Friday, October 25, 2019, at 4:00 p.m. Judge Kathleen Hamilton will present awards to the winners. Winning bookmarks will also be displayed at the Montgomery County Memorial Library System, Central Branch.
The DRC-MC is a 501(c)(3) corporation. Submitted bookmark art becomes the property of the DRC-MC. The DRC-MC reserves the right to use copies of any art submitted in contest publicity or for any future public awareness promotions.
