Toddler
Time: Wednesdays 10:00
Toddler Time is designed for
children 0 to 3 years of age, featuring 20-30 minute sessions of
picture books, felt board stories, puppet shows, finger plays, songs, color
sheets and story souvenirs. Due to the young age of children in
this group, we do not mind them exploring their surroundings as long as they
are not disturbing others in the group. We ask that fussy children be
removed from the story time room until they have calmed down. It is also
important to arrive on time as young children are easily distracted by
newcomers. Please remember to silence your cell phones prior to Toddler
Time. top

Preschool Story Time: Wednesdays
11:00
Designed for children 4 and
5 years of age who are preparing to attend kindergarten, featuring 30 to 45
minute sessions of picture books, felt board stories, puppet shows, finger
plays, songs, color sheets and crafts will be included. We encourage
children in this group to attend independently if they feel comfortable
doing so. We ask that fussy children be removed from the story time room
until they have calmed down. It is also important to arrive on time as young
children are easily distracted by newcomers. Please remember to silence your
cell phones prior to Preschool Time if you choose to remain in the story
time room with your child.

Big Kids' Story Time (for K-5) : second Tuesdays
of the month at 5:00 pm
The Big Kids "Fall Showcase
of Fun" occurs second Tuesdays of the month from January through
May 2008
at 5 PM. The Showcase is sponsored by the Stewart West Branch Friends of the
Library Group who have so graciously donated funds to hire special
programmers for our school age kids. Each program is designed to capture the
attention and imagination of kids 6 to 12 years of age. top
