BOOK CLUBS:
- It's Not Your Mother's Book Club
- Sign up at the 2nd Floor Reference Desk
- Participants must be between the Age of 13-18.

- Tween Book Club
- At each meeting Tweens aged 9 through 12 will get to discuss that month's book with each other, the Children's Librarian, and the YA Librarian. Call or sign up at the 1st Floor Children's Desk. Age: 9 to 12 years
- Seniors Circle Book Club

ADULTS:
Seniors Circle Book Club
PLEASE NOTE: Our meetings are now held on Wednesday
This book club is geared toward seniors, but it is open to adults 18 and up. We will discuss both fiction and nonfiction titles.
- Wednesday, February 3rd (Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes).
Registration begins January 7th (2 sessions at 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM) - Wednesday, March 3rd (In a Sunburned Country by Bill Bryson ).
Registration begins February 4th (2 sessions at 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM) - Wednesday, April 7th (Pilot's Wife by Anita Shreve) .
Registration begins March 4th (2 sessions at 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM) - Wednesday, May 5th (Into Thin Air by Jon Krakauer).
Registration begins April 8th (2 sessions at 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM) - Wednesday, June 2nd (Maisie Dobbs by Jacqueline Winspear).
Registration begins May 6th (2 sessions at 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM)
The first TEN participants to register for each date will get a free copy of the upcoming book to be discussed. Light refreshments will be served at the meetings. To register or ask questions, please call 936-442-7727, ext. 365 or 367, or come to the 2nd floor reference desk.
Family Game Night
Join us the first Monday of every month for at your library. Bring the whole family, and play family-friendly board games. Many games will be provided, and light refreshments will be served. All ages are welcome, and families are encouraged to bring food and drinks. Note: this is an entire-family event, and parents should attend with their children. 6-8 p.m.
