book

Get Caught Reading is a nationwide campaign to remind people of all ages how much fun it is to read, and May is Get Caught Reading month. The campaign is supported by the Association of American Publishers (AAP) and the Magazine Publishers of America (MPA). Launched in 1999, "Get Caught Reading" is the brainchild of former Congresswoman Pat Schroeder, President and Chief Executive Officer of AAP, the industry association representing book publishers. She saw the opportunity to spread the word about the joys of reading through an industry-supported literacy campaign. The MPA partnered with AAP in 2001 to promote the message that reading is one of life's true joys.

There’s so much to see, so much to do @ your library! Smart parents know there’s no better place to take their kids. The library is a place to learn, read and have fun . . .a place the whole family can enjoy. Bring the kids and see for yourself!

Storytime Rules

Our main goal is for everyone to have a good time at the library.  To make this experience an enjoyable one for your child, we ask for your cooperation and assistance in the following ways:

·         Please Arrive on time.  Children are easily distracted by newcomers.

·         Allow the children to focus on the program.  If a child becomes fussy or begins to cry, please step outside until the child calms down.

·         Parents and caregivers are asked to remain silent during the programs unless participating in the activities.

·         Please be nice to your neighbor - no hitting, biting or pinching.

·         It is ok to move around and explore our surroundings.
