SCHEDULE
of STORYTIMES for ALL BRANCHES
At the Montgomery Central Branch Library, we are committed to equal access to materials for all. American libraries are used for research, recreation, education, enrichment, dissemination of information, introduction to new books, and much more.
Libraries can and should be a shining jewel to society. But unlike a costly jewel in a store, this gem is yours for the asking. Where else can you find the current best seller, the obscure answer to a crying child's school assignment due tomorrow, an audio tape of a favorite book, or even an enjoyable movie? Where else can you bring your child for a preschool storytime or to hear a book read by its author?
The Children's Department at Central Branch is committed to building
a department based on quality and sound educational goals. Our current
goal includes building a Junior Reference Department which supplements
school assignments as well as individual interests. With the addition of
our Young Adult Librarian, we anticipate expanding our services to the
youth of Montgomery County.
