Mozart's Musikalisches
Wurfelspiel This is the electronic implementation of a
musical
composition dice game which was written by Mozart in 1787. Mozart
wrote instructions, and a Table of Rules, plus 176 possible minuet measures and
96 possible trio measures. Users can create a minuet by selecting two numbers
representing different instruments--one for the right hand, one for the left.

Animated Atlas A commercial site, Animated Atlas provides excellent audio-visual resources for teachers and students of European and American history. The resources combine maps and animation to create short video presentations on such subjects as the growth of the U.S. and WW I. Though most of the videos must be ordered, the site provides free samples of its presentations, including a ten minute presentation on the westward expansion of the United States, the early history of the American Revolution, the European alliances before WW I, and the beginnings of the Mexican American War.
